Accelerate is a two-week counselor-in-training program for 16- to 18-year-olds who desire to walk more closely with the Lord and to be equipped for a lifetime of ministry. By removing the distractions of home, King’s Domain seeks to create an atmosphere unlike any other, focusing entirely on the Lord and advancing His kingdom.
In the process of working alongside counselors from colleges and universities across the nation and serving children from the Cincinnati area, students gain invaluable leadership experience. Accelerate participants live in the same cabins as counselors and campers, allowing them the opportunity to develop deep relationships with both — being mentored by the college students and pouring into the kids.
During the two-week experience, students will learn from God’s Word about many spiritual disciplines and have countless opportunities to serve those involved in camp. In addition, those involved in Accelerate will have a weekend evangelism experience somewhere off camp property.
