Summary
Responsible for caring for the grounds, buildings, and vehicles
Primary duties
- Be an example of Christ in word and deed and when no one is looking
- Grounds: Mowing lawn, clearing brush, tending flower gardens, trail maintenance, weed-eating, event set-up, etc.
- Buildings: Event set-up, minor repairs, maintaining interior/exterior appearance, etc.
- Vehicles: Weekly cleaning, re-fueling, perform and log regular maintenance on same
- Recognize and respond effectively to maintenance requests & emergencies
- Work within a given schedule
Minimum requirements
- High school diploma
- 18 years of age or older
Abilities required
- An understanding of facility characteristics, rules, policies, and procedures
- Lift 40 pounds regularly
